Vic: Man dies in tobacco farm accident

MELBOURNE, Feb 12 AAP - A man died in an industrial accident on a tobacco farm in Victoria's
north-east today.

Police said the accident occurred shortly after 12.15pm (AEDT) on a property on Mountain
Creek Rd, Mt Beauty.

The man, whose name has not been released, had become lodged under a tobacco-spraying
unit, a police spokeswoman said in a statement.

Representatives of workers' compensation body WorkCover were attending the scene, she said.
